Interior Slab Leveling in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill

Our Poly Foam solution can restore your unlevel interior slabs to their original condition

If your floors feel uneven, doors aren’t lining up quite right, or you’re seeing cracks and gaps where there didn’t used to be, there’s a good chance your slab has settled. It’s a common issue around here, and the good news is it can usually be fixed without tearing your home apart.

At Triangle Concrete Solutions, we use a polyurethane foam injection process to lift and stabilize interior slabs and bring your floors back where they belong. It’s a clean, non-invasive solution that addresses the root of the problem, not just the symptoms.

Most slab settlement starts with the soil underneath. If it wasn’t compacted properly or shifts over time, the concrete above it can sink. That’s when you start noticing sloping floors, separation at walls and doorways, and cracks that seem to keep getting worse. Left alone, it can lead to bigger structural issues, and it can definitely hurt your home’s value.

Here’s how we fix it: we carefully access the slab by removing small sections of finished flooring where needed, then drill tiny, dime-sized holes into the concrete. Through those holes, we inject a high-density polyurethane foam that expands underneath the slab, filling voids and gently lifting the floor back into place. The foam cures quickly, reaching most of its strength within about 30 minutes, so we can fine-tune the lift as we go and get things level again. Once we’re done, the flooring is restored and the holes are barely noticeable.

Compared to options like mudjacking, self-leveling compounds, or piers, this method is faster, cleaner, and far less disruptive to your home. No major demo, no heavy equipment inside, and no long wait times to use your space again.

If you’re seeing signs of a settling slab, it’s worth having it looked at sooner rather than later. We offer free, no-obligation assessments throughout Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding areas. Give us a call at 919-322-9459 or click below to get started.

What causes uneven floors in a home?

Concrete slabs are often poured on wet, weak, or poorly compacted soil. Over time, this will lead to settlement of the slab, causing uneven floors or cracking. Inside your home, your floor will pull away from walls and doorways, creating gaps at the seams.

This not only creates an uncomfortable home with tripping hazards, it also significantly impacts property value. When prospective buyers have to deal with foundation issues, it can make selling a home very challenging.

How we repair sunken interior slabs with Polyurethane Foam

There are several traditional methods of raising concrete slabs, including self-leveling compounds, mudjacking, and pier installation.  However, these methods can be very invasive and often don’t fix the source of the problem.

Our polyurethane foam is the solution to these problems.  This is how our system works to raise your sunken concrete:
